Grammy-nominated Australian producer Dom Dolla is experiencing a meteoric rise. His signature style of house music resonates with global audiences, earning him recognition as one of the most exciting and influential producers in electronic music today.
Dom’s journey into house music began when his mother handed him a copy of Basement Jaxx’s 2001 album Rooty. During his late teens, Dom spent weekends hosting pub discos and DJing at parties while working as a graphic designer during the week. In 2015, he took a leap of faith, leaving his day job to fully pursue his passion for music and production.
Since then, Dom has delivered a string of critically acclaimed club hits, including Define, You, Be Randy, Take It, San Frandisco, Pump the Breaks, Moving Blind, and Strangers (featuring Mansionair). His 2022 release Miracle Maker (featuring Clementine Douglas) was named BBC Radio 1’s “Hottest Record in the World,” marking his global breakout moment. This success was followed by a series of hit singles, including Rhyme Dust (with MK), Eat Your Man (with Nelly Furtado), Saving Up, girl$, and CAVE (with Tove Lo). Dom’s catalog has surpassed an astounding 1 billion streams.
In addition to a Grammy nomination for his remix of Gorillaz’s New Gold (featuring Tame Impala and Bootie Brown), Dom received an ARIA Award for Best Electronic Dance Release. His artistry and impact have been widely celebrated: Rolling Stone named him “Best New Artist,” GQ crowned him “Solo Artist of the Year,” Billboard Dance labeled him “One to Watch,” Dancing Astronaut awarded him “Artist of the Year,” and he graced the cover of DJ Mag.
