Active for several years, Tharoza has made significant strides in recent times. His journey began a decade ago with Rock to the Rhythm on Paul Elstak’s album. That release solidified his vision: creating fast-paced hardcore was the way forward.
The COVID period provided an opportunity to refine his sound, leading to releases on renowned labels such as Uptempo is the Tempo, Snakepit Records, Barbaric Records, and Overdrive by Gearbox. His hard work landed him on the line-ups of major events like Harmony of Hardcore, Intents Festival, and Annihilation.
In early 2024, a new chapter began. Teaming up with his close friend Rosbeek and the Annihilation team, they launched Annihilation Records—a fresh, bouncy uptempo hardcore label. Tharoza’s mission is clear: to push the boundaries of bouncy uptempo and take the genre to new heights.
