Electric Love Opening Ceremony
The Electric Love Opening Ceremony is one of the most elaborate festival show elements in Europe, with over 100 musicians, artists, technicians, and professionals involved in the 17-minute show. Each year, local artists from Salzburg curate and produce the show, investing hundreds of hours over several months to perfect every detail. Involving live musicians such as orchestras, choirs, student choirs, dancers, and solo artists, the ELF Opening Ceremony is one of the festival’s core moments.

It’s not just about the top artists… since 2013, the Grounds of Love have been brought to life by hundreds of thousands of passionate visitors. Year after year, Electric Love sells out, drawing 180,000 fans from across the globe. The magic unfolds not only on the stages but also in the vibrant campgrounds, where friendships—old and new.
